CAPITAL ACCESS PROGRAM INFORMATION FOR SMALL BUSINESSES
Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC)
Based in Michigan, Capital Access is a program that offers small businesses access to loans from banks lending institutions. MEDC works directly with lenders to provide traditional financing to small businesses. Small business owners can find a participating institution based on the program of and talk to their local branch or lending institution to have them contact MEDC if they are not already part of Capital Access. Over the past decade, MEDC has deployed over $180 million to lending institutions across the state, which has helped more than 250 small businesses and lever nearly $100 million in private investment in Michigan

A loan program for women, beterans and entrepreneurs of color who don't qualify for traditional laons through banks or other financial institutions, providing opportunities for those who are socially and economically disadvantaged due to a lack of access to paital and credit.
REVITALIZATION AND PLACEMAKING (RAP) PROGRAM
MEDC
The Revitalization and Placemaking program provides access to gap financing for place-based infrastructure development, real estate rehabilitation and development, and public space improvements. Eligible applicants are individuals or entities working to rehabilitate vacant, underutilized, blighted and historic structures and the development of permanent place-based infrastructure associated with traditional downtowns, social-zones, outdoor dining and placed-based public spaces.
